Back to school was always such a fun time as a kid. Going shopping for all those fun back to school supplies was a dream for the little curator inside me!
I have two super easy back to school gift ideas- one for the teachers, and one for the kiddos! They are both super cost effective, because we all know how the cost of things has increased so much, and they are both as cute as it gets.

First Day Of School Teacher Gift
Teachers deserve all the praise in the world! Show them so love with this super easy "survival kit" gift on the first day. Its full of almost anything a teacher could need at a moments notice- Lysol spray, wipes, Advil, you name it! I'll include a full list below of everything I included. My tip is, go for travel size items so you can include several different items.
I included:
Survival pouch- from the Dollar Tree
Lysol Spray
Mints/gum
Tissues
Make-up remover wipes
Travel size Wet Ones
Travel size Advil
Shout wipes
Small tube of hand lotion
For the outside I tied some ribbon and attached a cute chenille patch in the first letter of this teachers last name. I got the patches here. I also tied on a cute little pennant which you can download by signing up for our emails here! How simple and easy for all the teachers in your life!
First Day Of School Gift For The Kids
Getting ready for the first day of school can add up quickly, but that doesn't mean that you can still put together a quick and adorable gift for the kids. I purchased this pencil case at Target- get yours here.
I know its a little girly, so switch it up to a different pencil case if you need to. I added gold confetti to it because it just looked so darn cute!! I also added that cute little smiley face keychain on the zipper to make it extra fun! Can you believe I picked up that keychain, along with the paperclips, pencils, and erasers at Dollar Tree?!
I also included a little hand written note one one of my back to school lunch box notecards- they have so many uses beyond lunch box notes! Grab your free printable notecard template by signing up for our emails here.
I added some ribbon to the zipper, because no gift is complete without ribbon- and zipped it all up. SO easy, and practical because the kiddos will actually use all the school supplies! It's the perfect little addition to slip into their backpacks the morning of their first day back.
Don't forget your lunch
Adding in these cute lunch box notecards might be my favorite new thing! How special would it be for your kiddos to open their lunch on the first day and see a note from you cheering them on! I have these available for a free download by signing up for our email list here.
I hope this brought you some inspiration for your gifting! Heres to a great year ahead for all the teachers and students!
